The next members meeting of the Cape Business Network will be held Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the IHop restaurant on Route 1 – Rehoboth Beach, DE.  The meeting will start promptly at 7:30 am. Be sure to arrive early to get your breakfast order in a head of time! This meeting will be open to people who are interested in becoming new members!

CBN: Making a difference!

This quarter, the CAPE made a substantial donation of cash and food to three Sussex County charities: Casa San Francisco in Milton, Food for Friends in Georgetown and Food Basket in Lewes. CAPE members Bryan Hecksher of Auto Gallery of DE and Peggi Hurley of Ancient Art Tatoo did the shopping and delivery for the group!

The CAPE Welcomes New Members!

Joann Wallett & Joe Ward of The Pet Station – providers of pet grooming and daycare; Donna Mulder of Tax & Accounting Advisors, LLC – which provides personal and business accounting services and Jay Diaz of Print Coast 2 Coast – which is a full service commercial printing company. Welcome aboard and we look forward to working with Joann, Joe, Donna and Jay!

CBN: Making a Difference in Our Community!

The CAPE Business Network made a generous donation to MERR on October 12th.  Peggi Hurley presented the check to Suzanne Thurman representing the Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation Institute, Inc.  In addition to supporting one another and their respective businesses, members of the CAPE Business Network subscribe to a mission statement that emphasizes aiding the community through active involvement with local charitable organizations.  The Network wished to support MERR, which provides rescue and response to stranded marine mammals and sea turtles occurring in DE, since 2000.  In the 11 years since it’s inception, MERR has provided stranding response for over 1100 animals, and served more than 100,000 people with their education programs.  MERR has over 100 volunteers who assist us in providing this service to our community. The CAPE Business Network made a generous donation to the Delaware Hospice July 6, 2011. The CAPE chose the Delaware Hospice because of the help they give to families and to people that are transitioning from this life. They offer care in the home, at the DE Hospice Center.

The Cape Business Network donated funds to the Jusst Sooup Ministry the morning of April 7, 2011.  In addition to the cash donation, food, clothing and blankets were donated. In addition to supporting one another and their respective businesses, members of the CAPE Business Network subscribe to a mission statement which emphasizes aiding the community through active involvement with local charitable organizations.  The Network wished to support the Jusst Sooup Ministry and recognize the efforts of Rev.
